Straight-leg trousers inspired by folded paper structures and the surface geometry of box construction. Angular seam lines and overlapping side panels create the impression of a rigid outer shell wrapping around the body. The layered panel at the upper side folds outward like opened packaging, revealing the inner layer beneath the outer surface. This opening introduces controlled tension and negative space within the silhouette, establishing a relationship between protection and exposure. Natural creasing around the knees and hems enhances movement and comfort. While maintaining a long, slim proportion, asymmetrical folds and displaced seam lines create the subtle impression of a form that has shifted out of alignment. Rooted in the material qualities of folded paper and box construction, this design explores the contrast between rigidity and collapse, protection and openness.
